As a part-time mobile and stationary grooming service, we operate out of a custom-converted trailer designed for one-on-one grooming experiences—not a traditional shop with a lobby. This allows us to provide your pet with focused, personalized care in a calm and safe environment.

No Dematting Policy
At S&S Grooming, the safety and comfort of your pet is our top priority. We do not offer dematting services, as excessive matting can cause pain, stress, and potential injury to your dog. Severely matted coats will be shaved down to ensure your pet’s health and well-being.
Regular grooming appointments and at-home maintenance are strongly encouraged to prevent matting.
In cases of excessive matting, we will perform a shave-down to safely remove the mats. Please be aware that:
• Skin underneath may be red, irritated, or have sores due to matting.
• There is an increased risk of nicks or skin sensitivity during the shave-down.
• Your pet may behave differently post-groom due to the sudden change in coat length or skin exposure.
We will always discuss shave-downs with you beforehand when possible. Regular grooming and brushing at home are the best ways to prevent matting and avoid the need for a shave-down.
